MY STORY
I’m Danielle Redmond — holistic nutritionist, retreat chef, and the founder of Holistika Kitchen.
For over a decade, I’ve been nourishing retreats and intentional gatherings with food designed to support not only the body, but the nervous system, emotional balance, and the deeper work that unfolds when people step out of everyday life.
Holistika Kitchen was born from a simple but deeply held belief: that food is an integral part of how safe, supported, and grounded people feel in shared spaces. On retreat, meals are not just nourishment — they are moments of pause, connection, and regulation. The right food, prepared with care and intention, helps people soften, settle, and truly receive the experience they’ve come for.
My work is grounded in whole-food nutrition, eating psychology, and a deep respect for the body’s natural rhythms. I take a nervous-system-aware approach to both food and space-holding, understanding that true nourishment goes beyond ingredients alone. It’s about timing, simplicity, and creating an environment where the body can relax rather than perform.
Since 2015, Holistika Kitchen has catered for over a hundred retreats and private events across Spain and beyond. I collaborate closely with retreat leaders to design menus that feel supportive, intuitive, and aligned with the intention of the retreat — whether that focus is rest, detoxification, emotional release, or reconnection. Each menu is tailored, seasonal, and thoughtfully prepared using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
Alongside my work as a retreat chef, I am trained in holistic nutrition and eating psychology, with a background that bridges nutritional science, mindful eating, and embodied wellbeing. Over the years, my own experiences — including navigating stress, burnout, and a complex relationship with food — have shaped the way I work today: gently, respectfully, and without forcing the body into change.
I believe that each person’s path to wellbeing is unique, and that meaningful change happens when people feel safe, seen, and supported. Whether I’m nourishing a retreat space, working one-to-one, or hosting retreats of my own, my intention is always the same: to create conditions where people can slow down, reconnect, and return to themselves.
Thank you for being here.
Be well,
Danielle
